Frisco is known as

“Frisco” is a Rescue Jack Russell Terrier (or Parson’s Russell Terrier).

I’m really not sure how old he is although I would guess he was born in 1996. I adopted him from Jack Russell Rescue when Ransom was 10 months old. Apparently he was a stray placed in a multitude of homes (foster and permanent) before I took him home the day before Christmas Eve, 2000. He’s been quite a challenge and has been through a lot. We’ve had to work through many issues from an intense phobia of flies to resource guarding issues. He also has had major fear issues in the agility ring that we’ve finally overcome (fingers crossed). They affected his performance to the point that he could barely make time. In his last two shows, after working very hard to build his confidence and speed, he’s managed to post scores in Novice JWW (put him back to Novice to build confidence) that are faster than any other qualifying dog (all heights-even beating ALL the Border Collies). I’m hopeful that this trend will continue. No matter what, he was the best Christmas present I ever received!
